How it works
Each question and answer becomes a Question entity inside a FAQPage block, following Google's structured data specification. Answers are cleaned to the HTML tags Google allows (headings, lists, links, bold and italic) and everything else is stripped. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent to a server. Paste the script into the page that shows the same questions, since the markup must match visible text.

Does Google still show FAQ rich results?
Since August 2023 Google limits FAQ rich results to well-known government and health sites. FAQPage markup is still worth adding: it tells Google and AI engines exactly which question each answer addresses, and answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity quote FAQ blocks heavily.
Must the FAQ text be visible on the page?
Yes. The questions and answers in the markup must match text a visitor can see. Hidden FAQ markup violates Google's structured data guidelines and can trigger a manual action.
How many questions should I include?
Three to eight per page, each answering one specific question in two to four sentences. Put the direct answer in the first sentence; that is the part AI engines extract.
Can I use HTML in answers?
Google allows a limited set: h1-h6, br, ol, ul, li, a, p, div, b, strong, i, em. The generator escapes everything else. Keep answers as plain text where you can.
