Each category checks between 3 and 6 specific signals fetched live from your site. Google Search ignores llms.txt, so that category reflects readiness for Anthropic, Perplexity and other non-Google engines.

Does Google use llms.txt?
No. Google has said Search ignores llms.txt. We still score it because Anthropic, Perplexity and a growing set of AI agents read it. Treat it as a low-cost signal for non-Google engines, not a Google ranking factor.
What is the fastest way to lift a D or F grade?
Usually two fixes: unblock AI crawlers in robots.txt (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot) and add LocalBusiness plus FAQ schema to your key pages. Both can be done in under an hour with the free generators on this site.
Does the audit store or share my URL?
